Saturday’s Fashions

My legs have been infected with a fungus. It’s called adorablefloralpinkness. {That right there is a fine example of just how witty and creative I am. Be awed.}

I got two compliments on these tights/this outfit today. And one little boy who stared and stared. I’m not really sure what was going through his head. But most little kids seem fascinated with legs that are any color but normal.

This flower is pretty versatile. I wear it a lot. I need more.

Woo! A slip. Scandalous. But seriously, I love these tights. {Or not so seriously. You don’t have to be serious. I never am. Let’s have a party and all be un-serious together! It’ll be fun!}

Owl of the Day:

I am so incredibly sad: this brand of jewelry seems to be going out of business at Target. All of it was on sale the other day, and when I went back it was almost gone. I’m holding out hope that they’re just getting rid of old designs so they can replace them with new ones.

Other ways I’ve styled this dress:

I think I like the current styling the best. Which one is your favorite?

The week’s outfits:

And since I haven’t done style inspiration in a while, I want to introduce you to a few of my newest favorite fashion bloggers.

Click through to see them.

First up, Kendi from Kendi Everyday: I adore her use of colors, mix of patterns, and choices of accessories. I have not seen an outfit of hers that I dislike yet! She’s a huge inspiration to me when mixing up colors and patterns– she’s got a great eye for how to work things together.

I wish I could wear jeans so well.

Next, Gee from Sock Monkey and Gee. Once again, I love everything she wears. She’s so gorgeous, and so utterly feminine, and a little bit vintage. I’d love to steal all of her clothes. {Also, I love her blog name. So cute!}

So pretty.

Both of these ladies are making me really, really miss my long hair. And they make me wish I had such amazing taste. And a good photographer. And more clothes. Most of all, though, they inspire me to be more creative with the wardrobe that I have– it’s Kendi who began the 30-for-30 challenge that I plan on starting next week.

So! That’s it for the post today. If you want a nice long list of fashion bloggers to browse through, check out this list of remixers. It’s long. I’m slowly making my way through the list, finding lots of lovely ladies to be inspired by, and rebuilding my bookmarks.

Have a lovely Saturday!

    What an awesome post!! LOL at the description if your tights!! ahaha!! They are beautiful, though, and very special! I also love the skirt and the top! I actually think that you can combine and style pieces in the same beautiful way as Kendi and Gee do! 😀 😀 Aw, and I forgot to say that today’s owl is gorgeous! And that I love your hair like that! 😀 You’re very pretty, rock on! 😀

      Hehe, I’m glad it made you laugh. I thought it was funny. Thank you! I think… my wardrobe isn’t quite as amazing as their wardrobe, but it’s getting there. 😀

    I think when I finish school, I’m going to do the 30 Remix and this colour alphabet challenge. As I’m at school and have to wear a school uniform every day I can’t yet, so I’m super excited for when I can. It’ll be summer then too, which will make it interesting.
    Other than that, your tights = <3

      Oooh, fun! You’ll have to make a blog and share the results. 😀 I love seeing other people do the same challenges I’m doing.
