It’s beginning to look a lot like… Christmas?
Today’s outfit inspiration comes to you from the ever lovely Annebeth of Styling Dutchman. She is one of my absolute favorite fashion bloggers, and I can always find inspiration when I read her blog!
I should probably admit, though, that I went through her Chictopia archives specifically looking for plaid-ness, because she always has good plaid and I just bought a plaid skirt I needed to wear.
Do I even need to express my excitement that the snow stayed around– on and off– for us to take pictures? If you watched my tutorial yesterday, you would have seen my reaction to the fact that it was snowing, so when we took these pictures I was very distracted by the whiteness falling around me. It’s gone now, sadly, but it was fun while it lasted!
Did you ever notice that snowflakes are harder to catch on your tongue than they should be? Or maybe I’m just not very good at it.
It’s probably the latter. I’m not very good at posing for the camera, either. In fact, when Mr. Owl tells me to pose, I do this:
He wasn’t very impressed. I don’t know why. Between this one and Monday’s beautiful posing, I really think I could be a model. (insert sarcasm here.)
I think I should start using props to help me get more creative with my posing.
In other news: can you guess which ankle I twisted nearly two weeks ago? Hint: it’s still swelling a little. It doesn’t like heels. And also, it’s the right one. (I’m so good with hints.) My ankle is very, very slowly healing, but I keep tweaking it and making it bad again.
Maybe I shouldn’t go traipsing around in the woods with Mr. Owl. Or go up stairs. Or step into the shower. Or walk. I should just get a wheelchair.
A word to the wise: don’t forget to watch where you’re walking. Especially when wearing heels and exiting buildings at the same time. 😉

Ah, I wish I had that bicycle still! It wasn’t mine, though. And the car wasn’t, either. I’ll start to find new things, though! 😀

Ouch…your ankle… :O Girl, you shouldn't be wearing heels, you're making it worse! I felt pain only by seeing the pictures. I hope it'll get better soon :/

It snowed almost every day last week! Not for very long each time, but I would wake up and there would be a little snow! It was so weird.
