Introducing…

Mr. Owl and I have both been feeling under the weather lately, and yesterday as we were taking outfit pictures in an outdoor shopping center (which is really more like a collection of shops and restaurants around a theater), a security guard came up and told us (very nicely) that we couldn’t be taking pictures around there. Which put me off taking pictures altogether.

So while we rest, I would like to instead introduce you to a new blog that I’m sure you all will be addicted to in no time!

Today, I received an incredibly sweet email from Mereana, who told me that because of her addiction to my blog, she and her friend Erena have just started up their own blog. Of course, I had to go check it out because I always love finding new blogs to follow, and I was immediately hooked. Not only do these girls have great style, but they also post home decor pictures next to their outfits to show how home and style can go hand in hand. I love this unique view!

I can already tell that Home Becomes Her is going to be a blog that people immediately adore, and I only wish that there were more posts to see!

So head on over there and welcome Mereana and Erena into the blogging community!

Oooh, can’t wait to check out your blog recommendation… it looks great already!! And sorry to hear about your experience. I really don’t see why you can’t take pictures there… it’s not illegal to take photos of yourself. Boo, what a rude security guard!! xo V

It’s definitely a great blog already!
The security guard was totally nice about it, but apparently around that area there’s some sort of… I don’t know, you have to have the property manager’s permission to take pictures. It’s the first time we’ve ever been sent away from a location!

Taking photos in public can be difficult, but I don’t see  why the security guard made you stop taking photos. What could that harm be? Very strange.
Anyway, love the look of this blog already and I can’t wait to go check it out. I love interior design as well as fashion so this should be right up my alley.
    XOXO

I’m not sure. Especially since we weren’t disturbing anyone (there was barely anyone around, actually!) And we weren’t shooting in front of a store window or something. He just told us that we had to get the property manager’s permission to take pictures, otherwise (and he apologized and was really nice about it) we couldn’t take pictures.

      It’s definitely a great blog!
