Guest Post: Jaime, Petite Panoply

Hello everyone! I’m Jamie and I blog over at Petite Panoply. I’m so excited to be guest posting for Kristina while she’s spending time with her new baby boy! Since all of Kristina’s readers love seeing her awesome outfits, I thought I’d put together an outfit post for you to look at while she’s away.

Kristina always does such a nice job styling up her thrift finds and vintage items. I love wearing thrifted/vintage clothes too. Most of the time I’ll add in a modern trend or classic piece to keep the outfit from looking costume-y. (Though sometimes costume-y is the way to go!)

The red sweater here was a Goodwill purchase and my 70s button-down top is a thrift find from a few years ago. This shirt can be a little crazy on its own so sometimes it’s nice to tone it down with layers. I also added a trendy piece to this outfit with my leather pleated skirt. I firmly believe you can wear any vintage piece (even the craziest 70s polyester shirt) when you mix it with something new or something classic!

top: vintage – thrifted | sweater: polo ralph lauren – thrifted | skirt: forever 21 | tights: kmart | boots: xhileration – target

Thank you so much for reading my guest post for Kristina. I’m so flattered she asked me to do this! Maybe this outfit will give you some inspiration to style up a more unusual or flashy vintage piece. You can how I styled this geometric 70s blouse with corduroy shorts here and underneath a little black dress here.

I hope you guys are all having a great January!
