That Quiet Feeling | Outfit
This might come as a surprise to you, considering that I have, you know, pink hair and all, but there are some days when I just don’t feel like wearing color. Those days are few and far between to be sure, yet they creep up on me sometimes and when I search my closet for something monochrome and gray, this is honestly the best I can do. I am not a colorless wardrobe person. I have every hue found in the rainbow and then some; I’m in the process of ordering my closet in a rainbow fashion, and I don’t think I’m missing a single shade.
So it’s a bit harder to match my mood when all I want to do is wear grays and blacks and darker tones. My navies all have polka dots or stripes on them. My neutrals are mainly patterns. This black top may be the only solid item I own.
But for the most part, I’m okay with that.
These past few weeks have been a bit rough (teething baby), so I apologize for the short and spare posts! I’m planning quite a few for the upcoming weeks, and I am realizing that it might work out better for my current schedule and stage of life to only post twice a week, so for the rest of the month I’ll be testing that theory and posting on Mondays and Thursdays.

I adore this skirt, and outfit! I’m someone who tends to wear darks and neutrals only, with pops of color here and there, so that skirt would be a fantastic addition to my wardrobe. I love it!

You look adorable as always! I can totally relate to having to adjust your blog postings to fit your current schedule. I was posting weekly at one point and that was proving too much for me given my work schedule and my other passions. Last Fall, I went to an every other week pattern and that works a lot better for me. Although, it still is busy at times, so I may have to re-adjust again in the future, but for now, it is fun and manageable. Hope you have a wonderful week!

I think you look amazing in solids as well as patterns and colours! The skirt is lovely.
And I totally understand that blogging sometimes have to take a backseat to everything else in life. Don’t feel bad about it! It’s life.
