It’s My (Strawberry) Jam
Anyone who has followed my blog for a while knows I have an undying love for eShakti. It all started with this gorgeous red dress, followed by a few I thrifted, then a beautiful bohemian number that served me well through pregnancy, a blue gingham number I haven’t shared on the blog yet, and now this dress. I have been yearning for a good red gingham dress for a long time, and boy did eShakti deliver!
This dress has a super full skirt, pockets, the option to change the neckline (which I did!), and is light and airy enough for summer while still being fully lined. I could not adore it more! It is even cuter than I had hoped for. Which is usually the case with eShakti. Everything they have is stellar!
And the combination of gingham with strawberries just made sense! These ones were gifted to me off Amazon, and I adore the set. This is probably the cutest necklace I have ever owned. Now I just need someone to take me on a picnic and I’m set for an outfit. Of course, strawberries will have to be a featured dish. 😉
This dress is the epitome of summer, to me. My mom would call it a tablecloth dress, which just reminds us of picnics and sunny days, spending our hours around the picnic table instead of eating inside, grilling hamburgers, and having bonfires. All of my childhood nostalgia is wrapped up in a print like this. The stars are whimsical, the gingham is sweet, and the color happens to be my favorite!
As usual, I have a good backlog of outfits to share as summer rolls on and I rediscover some great dresses in my wardrobe. I recently purged my closet and bedroom of a LOT of things I never used, and rearranged my closet so that all of my dresses are visible (While my skirts and tops are hung behind a wall now.) This may result in me only wearing dresses for the next 100 days, or however many dresses I actually own… I was thinking about doing some sort of challenge with it. Perhaps a color challenge, like I did years ago?
We shall see!
I hope you are all enjoying your summer! I hope to share a few summertime adventures as soon as I get photos edited, and I hope you enjoy seeing those!
