If you’re a pregnant woman, you will know the struggle of finding cute and affordable maternity clothes. You know, the kind that won’t break your budget, but will fit right, look cute, be stylish, and maybe even work post-pregnancy? Yeah, those kind. I often avoid buying clothes actually made for pregnancy because they feel frumpy, or they’re mega expensive, or they won’t be useful when the baby bump is gone.

Enter Pink Blush. Not only are they all REALLY cute, with lots of floral and stripes and clothes that could be dressed up or down, vintage inspired or boho chic, whatever your look needs… they’re also affordable. We’re talking like under $100, mostly under $60 affordable. And, get this, they make many of their maternity tops and dresses with breastfeeding in mind! So not only are they pretty and totally budget friendly, they’re also multi purpose.  Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com

I decided to pair this pretty navy off shoulder top with one of their mega comfortable maternity skirts this weekend as I was away at the ocean with my mom. And let me tell you, I didn’t mean to wear the same outfit every day… but I did. This top is perfect for versatility; you can wear it on or off the shoulder, as a long tunic or tied up like I did here for a more retro look, with jeans or with skirts, tucked in, let out… and stripes are pretty much the neutral of patterns so it will go with everything.

Plus, it feels like pajamas. And when you’re pregnant, you want everything to feel like pajamas so that’s a huge bonus. Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.comBudget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com

What drew me to this top was the sleeves. Who doesn’t love sleeves that sweep and swoosh whenever you move your arms and make you feel like Morticia Addams? Albeit a very pregnant and also much less goth Morticia. Lately I’ve been trying to choose items for my closet that have a bit more versatility, and as I already said, this top fit the bill!

The skirt, too, is wonderfully comfortable (I much prefer this to pants!) and versatile! I have a serious lack of solids and basics in my wardrobe, but slowly and surely I am growing those pieces!  Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.comBudget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.comBudget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com

Taking them both to the ocean with my mom this weekend ended up being very fortunate indeed, because the wind was so strong the first day that as I was trying to photograph a different outfit, the wind just whipped up and blew my skirt alll the way up to show off my  underwear. Thankfully, there were no passers by at that moment, but just five minutes before there had been a few people working in the yard next door and my goodness what a sight I would have been! As soon as I got the shots I needed for that outfit, we went to the hotel and I changed into this and was much, much more secure throughout the weekend. Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com Budget Friendly Maternity Clothes | eyreeffect.com

My only very small quibble with the skirt is that I do wish the waistline was a little more of a fixed elastic type waistline rather than having gathers, because for retro styles it can mess up the look a bit to have gathered elastic at the waist. But, a belt could easily fix this! And it’s so, so comfortable that it makes up for that very small nitpick.

I will definitely be styling both items a lot during the rest of my pregnancy — and the top will work even after I have had my baby, which I love!
