The Lady of the Lake || How to style floral for fall

Close to where I live, there is a beautiful little harbor full of boat docks, waterfront parks, and quaint tourist locations. It’s on the list of 10 best places to visit in Washington State, which seems so odd to me, being that it’s my hometown and I’m so used to the surroundings. They don’t seem quaint or interesting to me; they just seem normal. Everyday. Almost mundane. But even in the most everyday of places, there are still charming spots. This little house on the water is under the process of being converted into a public house for people to rent for parties as well as a space wherein those who wish to learn more about boats (specifically, building them!) can visit and learn. It is one of my favorite spots to come and shoot photos, and especially in the autumn I think it’s such a charming place! For just a few hours, I could pretend to be a bookish college student studying The Lady of the Lake.

Briefly, let’s talk about my watch! This darling little cat-faced watch is from Riverdean Watches, who so kindly contacted me to collaborate and style a few of their watches. Of course, being so close to spooky season I HAD to choose this cute little cat to be a new part of my daily style. And I do mean that! I am not much of a wrist-accessory person, but I’ve always wanted to be a watch-wearer and Riverdean has given me the chance to be just that. I chose three styles (You can see one of the others here, and I’ll be debuting the third soon!) to experiment with and this leather-banded one is my favorite so far. I have quite small wrists, so it’s hard to find watches fitted enough from the get-go. However, this one is adjustable and so easy to wear! And so far, he has stood up against my kids, my clumsiness, and being worn during all sorts of daily activities.

If you’re a watch person or, like me, want to be, do visit Riverdean watches and use the code KRISTINA20 to get 20% off your purchase! I am truly and genuinely excited to be the proud owner of these pretty new watches, and to finally become a watch person.
