I Tried Recreating 1940’s Hairstyles

As you can see from the title, today I’m sharing my attempts at recreating 1940’s hairstyles! These are all actually quite easy to do and fun if you want hairstyles that are half up/half down. You’ll see in the video, but I was inspired to do this by photos of my grandma from the era, and the hairstyle she wore in her 20’s. I’d been wanting to film this forever, but to be honest I only set my hair once a week and I didn’t want to waste a good set on a bunch of hairstyles that would inevitably brush it out further than I prefer. Surprisingly, though, even after all of these hairstyles, I still had a good set of curls going!
