I can’t believe how backed up I am on sharing adventures with you all! It was over 2 weeks ago that Mr. Owl and I went to Fort Worden on a whim. I had been there before, although I never realized they had a lighthouse, but Mr. Owl had never explored the park. Tuesday’s Adventure: Camping! Part Two.
As you know, my family and Mr. Owl and I went camping a few weekends ago (if you didn’t see it, part one is here.) On the last day, we headed out of Kalaloch to Ruby Beach, and on the way, we stopped by what was (I think) just called “Big Cedar Tree”. Which… it was. Huge. What you see in the above picture is only about half of the base of the tree. I was absolutely mesmerized by its roots. By The Sea
It’s Mr. Owl and my 5 month anniversary today! Can you believe it? I can’t. It doesn’t feel like it’s been five months… and yet, it feels like we’ve known each other forever. I’m still quite fond of him. On Monday, Mr. Owl and I went to a place called Point No Point to see the lighthouse (and the beach.)
