Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Today, I am thankful for so many things: my caring, hardworking, crazy, weird, hilarious, sexy, loving, amazing husband; the baby who gets more and more active every day (especially when there’s food!); my family (including my in-laws), which grows bigger and more amazing every year; and the little things. A roof over our heads, food to eat, a great job, this blog. I am so blessed some days I just can’t believe it! Nerdy Pregnant Wife
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, can you believe it? I was going to do a post on what I’m going to wear tomorrow, since I likely won’t have time tomorrow to post anything (you know, spending time with family and all, haha!) but then I got lazy. I have the rest of my shift for work to finish, plus I’m baking Paleo pumpkin pie and Paleo coconut macaroons to bring to the family gatherings, I want to rearrange the living room so that we can fit a tree somewhere in the tiny space, I want the house to be clean by tonight, and they’re coming to fix/replace our sliding glass door soon.…

Burgundy, mustard, and a skull
Do you ever have one of those outfits where as soon as you put it on, you just feel absolutely beautiful? I hope you all do. Because those outfits are the best. This is one of them, for me! I had been eying this dress from Target’s maternity section for quite a while based solely on the color, but the nearly-$30 price tag deterred me from ever trying it on, as did the obviously body conscious silhouette. Until, that is, I went to Target in search of a good maternity sweater, saw the dress hanging with the 70% off clearance items, and decided “ah, might as well try it on!”…

Vampire quality
Do you ever have those days where you feel so confident that you start making tons of faces in your outfit pictures, and end up with several that crack you up? This was one of those days. In half of my pictures, I’m making weird faces. But hey, we’ll just go with it; I generally do laugh and make faces more than acting all serious-fashion-blogger-y in real life. Stripes
So here’s a thing you don’t know about me, which perhaps I shouldn’t be sharing because you might think it’s gross, but… uhm… I don’t wash my thrifted clothes unless they actually smell or look dirty. Most of the stuff I’ve thrifted smells like laundry detergent, and I figure… hey, if it smells clean, it probably is! Right? Anyone? Yeah. My husband thinks it’s gross and I avoid telling him I haven’t washed a thrifted shirt. Usually I get away with it. But obviously if it just smells old or has stains or feels groaty, I’ll wash it!
