My Week on Instagram
The two biggest things of the week, obviously: I started writing again (and subsequently kept forgetting descriptive words and just marking my place with “WORD” so that I could go back and replace it. Hopefully I remember to actually do that…) and I went blonde. I am shocked by how big of a difference it made to go blonde! So many people didn’t recognize me. Because of the blonde-ness, I also updated my makeup routine. Which you can see in full here. I’m loving the new colors I can get away with now having blonde hair. A dream is a wish your heart makes…
The outfit pictures are back! Slightly crazier than before… My cat, by the way, is not interested in getting kisses. She is, however, very interested in getting down and away from the crazy lady in the hat posing for the camera. So there will be no outfit voting this Saturday because… well… I only have two outfits. (Chictopia for the other one.) Instead, you just get today’s outfit pictures. I’m not actually wearing that hat or those shoes any more. I mean, I would, but it’s just not practical for housework. It’s a fun hat. And these are cool shoes. I had a dream with Toby Stephens in it…

Wasting time
I am in love with this dress. I want to wear it every day for…forever. Apparently, there’s a thorn bush. I stepped on it. Yeah. Definitely a new favorite. This is the necklace that I cringed to spend $15 on…and that I almost returned. I love it, though, so…no returning! Also, I have worn these shoes every Sunday for the past three weeks. And this belt is kind of pathetic. But I got it for $0.99, so… I guess I can’t complain. Speaking of getting things for 99 cents… This scarf was also $0.99. I think it’s fun. It reminds me of summer. I’m going to wear it a lot…

A look into the past
I’ve been scrolling through tons of pictures from three or four years ago and going down memory lane. I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorites. All taken by yours truly. Kitties and weddings and yellow hats, oh my!
I was the maid-of-honor in a wedding today. Yesterday, the bride and I spent all day wandering around a thrift/vintage store trying on all the hats and taking pictures of all the cats we could find. It was SO much fun! And the wedding today went off with only one hitch, and that hitch was incredibly minor. I love weddings.
