Snow White is cranky.
You can’t tell by this picture, but I’m feeling a little bit cranky today. I blame the weather. And lack of good sleep. And the unhealthy amount of chocolate I had last night. And my hair’s disobedience (especially my bangs.) But I’m leaving to see my Owl today, so all will be well. We plan to do a possible photoshoot in the woods if the weather decides to get nicer, make doughnuts, and watch The Two Towers. Mr. Owl says I look like a hippie in this dress. A cute hippie, but still a hippie. I told him he’d just have to deal with it because I like this dress and it reminds me of something a Bennet might wear. Speaking of Mr. Owl, we went to a used bookstore yesterday and he found me the best books ever: The Hobbit, and The Fellowship of the Ring. Not only are they the best because, y’know, Lord of the Rings, but also because they match the Two Towers and Return of the King copies I found at a thrift store and hadn’t been able to match. Coffee Goddess and Sitting Dog
Would it be entirely vain to say I absolutely love these pictures? The lighting today was fabulous. I just wish some of the fog had stayed from earlier. *sigh* So dreamy! Today, I was told by a new customer that I was basically his coffee goddess. This was before he tasted my coffee. I’m just, you know, that good. 😉 Actually, he was very thankful that we were open before 4am, and also that we have white coffee. You know, I’ve never really understood the pull of white coffee. I think it smells like peanuts and tastes like… well… watery peanuts. And who wants to drink watery peanut juice?…

Nature Girl
I think the only thing I will miss about the old house when we move is this tree. This tree is fantastic for photoshoots, whether I’m using it to pose with, or as a prop for my camera to sit on. The back yard is beautiful as well, and the driveway has been quite handy. There isn’t as much privacy at the new house– it’s in a neighborhood– so I’ll have to either get over my shyness of being seen photographing myself, or find more creative and sneaky ways to do photoshoots where nobody can see me. Or perhaps I will get brave and scout out locations that aren’t at…

I would like you to meet my new favorite shirt. I was at the mall yesterday (oh, yes. I went to a store that wasn’t Goodwill! It was special) browsing through Forever 21’s sale racks when I spied this baby sitting on the end of a display. I snatched him up, and decided to buy him before I’d even tried on the shirt. Which is now a him, apparently. I also found two pairs of owl earrings (because the 10 pairs I own are not enough) and a coat with owl lining that I have decided I should ask for for Christmas.
