Baby Number Two: Pink, or Blue?
Happy April 1st! But this actually isn’t a joke. We’re having a girl, and I totally knew it! I’m SO excited. I was hoping we could do the gender reveal idea I wanted to do, and while it would have been cute with a boy too, I just… I think it’s cuter with a girl. Haha! I would have cried when the Doctor got to the “what gender do you think THAT is?” part, except it was a man, and he was older, and I don’t like crying in front of strangers. So, you know. I cried inside, with happiness. I’m so excited to buy girly clothes and girly toys…

Well, we know what the baby is! If you’re an Instagrammer, you already know the gender since I’m terrible at keeping secrets and I’ve already revealed it there. But if you’re not, then surprise! The tally is: 27 for a Boy, 26 for a Girl, so far as I can count via Facebook, blog, and Instagram (before I revealed it). Just within the family, the vote was 14 for a boy and 12 for a girl. Today’s the day we find out for sure if it’s a boy or a girl! I’m taking up a tally of who thinks it’s what– so far as I write this, it’s ten for a girl, and eight for a boy. To warn you, y’all might not find out till Wednesday, since we’re having a gender reveal party with family tomorrow. Mr. Owl can’t come with me to the ultrasound, so I’ll have them write it in a card or on a piece of paper, then we’ll read the verdict together when he gets home tonight.
