So I have been borrowing from my shop closet recently because… well, it’s all pretty stuff, to be honest, and I might be getting a little bored with my regular closet. New favorite florals
May I introduce to you… my new favorite dress. Oh. My. Goodness. I love this dress. I want to wear it all the time, everywhere. It’s the perfect floral print, the perfect beautiful colors, the perfect length, the perfect twirliness, and it has pockets! I mean, what more could a girl want? I had a bit of luck at the thrift store this week, and scored three gorgeous vintage 1970’s dresses (one of which you’ll see later this week!) that I can’t wait to over-wear come warmer weather! The Lumberjack and the Lady
Well, hello there. I’m not sure if I’m officially “back” yet, since it’s not 2012 and life continues to be unexpected, but I’ll be trying to blog whenever I have a minute (like today) because I realized yesterday that I miss blogging a lot. The usefulness of a 4-inch heel.
This is the second dress I’ve worn today. I started out determined to make another frock work for me, but the top of the other dress just… doesn’t work with my body. It’s not flattering. And I almost said “oh well” and wore it anyway, but then I put on these shoes, which reminded me of this dress, which needed this belt… and there you go. I’ve been doing this for longer than I thought.
I was making a Facebook album of my scarf-a-day pictures, and I realized that I’ve been doing this for three days longer than I thought I had. Here I was thinking yesterday’s outfit was day ten and all the while… it’s thirteen. But two of those don’t really count because I wore two scarves twice without noticing it. Not that that’s a bad thing. It just means I have more scarves to conquer. I have to say, this may be one of my favorite outfits of the scarf challenge so far.
