    A little hiatus.

I won’t be able to blog again until Monday, as I’m going camping this weekend and tomorrow is going to be hectic… and I wasn’t able to take any pictures of  my outfit other than webcam ones, because my camera’s batteries died and I didn’t have the other ones charged.  So here are the three webcam snapshots of what I wore this morning (because it was far too hot in the shop to wear this denim skirt at work):   And also: the cutest owl mug ever. Isn’t it darling? I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I might be able to shoot of a really, really fast outfit post…

    Still as sweet

I’m not usually one to be inspired by fashion blogs. I mean, I love reading them, and I’m always prompted to dress well when I see other people dress well, but before today, I’ve never seen an outfit and thought “Oh, I want to recreate that!” So this outfit is special. It’s the first outfit I’ve put together inspired by someone else’s beautiful attire: Charlotte’s post today was so pretty I had to reinterpret it. I was wearing something completely different and not feeling it at all, and thank goodness I’d been browsing bloglovin’… because I like this so much better. Also, thank goodness the weather has taken a turn…

    Pink Leather Owls

So today’s outfit, is THE LAST OF THE ALPHABET CHALLENGE!!! Sorry. I tried very, very hard to be lazy and wear jeans. Really, I did.  I mean, I was lazy with my hair, lazy with my makeup (rather… I didn’t put any on), and I  had jeans on, I had all the other pieces on… and I just… it looks so much better with a skirt. I’m so much more comfortable in a skirt. So… yeah. I seriously doubt I’ll be wearing the jeans much for the 30 for 30 challenge. But I’ll try. Owl of the day: This is one of my favorite owls. Look at his little…

    W is for White

Can you believe that the main parts of of this outfit were thrifted? The trench coat is from Goodwill ($8), the dress is from a local thrift shop ($5), and the belt is from Goodwill as well ($2.99) I think all in all, the entire outfit- jewelry and shoes included- cost me a grand total of $48. That’s not even enough to have bought this coat brand-new. And had I waited on the shoes, I could have gotten the last pair— my size— for $7 instead of $20. (the $20 was sale price, but still…) I love thrift stores. I had my mom take my pictures today because the camera…
