Slowing Down
This outfit marks the last one that I will be wearing with heels. Sadly, as I mentioned in my last post, I discovered that it totally stresses my husband out that I’ve been wearing high heels while pregnant (because I fell down… in this outfit, right after I finished taking outfit pictures. Scraped up my knees, bled on the tights — thank goodness they’re red — and scuffed one of the sleeves of the dress), and lately I’ve also finally been feeling some harsher pregnancy effects, like my hips being out of whack and the groin soreness getting worse and worse. Week one of Dressember 2013

Even if all I do is wear dresses every day with nothing raised, it’s helping to bring awareness to a great cause, and that is worth it! Let it snow!
I am in love with winter. About four hours after I took these pictures, it started to snow. One of my husband’s cousins (cousin-in-law?) commented that people from the west coast are weird when I expressed my excitement about it, but hey: when it basically usually just rains all winter, snow is EXCITING! I have learned three things so far during this Dressember challenge/fundraiser: one, I tend to get more motivated to take outfit pictures the more often I take them; two, I really am not used to scheduling posts so far ahead; and three, if you get the proportions right, you can wear anything. Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Today, I am thankful for so many things: my caring, hardworking, crazy, weird, hilarious, sexy, loving, amazing husband; the baby who gets more and more active every day (especially when there’s food!); my family (including my in-laws), which grows bigger and more amazing every year; and the little things. A roof over our heads, food to eat, a great job, this blog. I am so blessed some days I just can’t believe it! Love and Fall Leaves
On Sunday, my husband and I went in search of some good fall trees to shoot photos, and we found the perfect location in the parking lot of a school close to where I grew up. They have the most gorgeous red and yellow trees right now! Oh my goodness, I could have died. And in a moment of rarity, I let my husband do the picture-taking.
