Weekend Dreaming with Better Dresses Vintage

If ever there was a site that made me wish I had an expendable income, Better Dresses Vintage is it. Liza finds some of the most amazing vintage dresses I have ever seen, and they definitely are worth every penny! You might recognize the name from the dress she sent me that I wore for my first day of Dressember, which I adore to no end. I’m so lucky to be working with her! 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 These are a few of my favorites from her dresses. I cannot get over the beautiful florals, the full skirts, the dreaminess of that last one… oh, my goodness. I can just imagine twirling around…

    Dollface

Oh, my goodness, it is COLD. When I took these pictures on Wednesday, I was only outside for about fifteen minutes. But by the time I got done, my fingers were so cold I could barely move them, I had goosebumps all over, and my nose had started to run from the bite of the wind. I absolutely love this weather, though! It’s been so beautifully sunny and frosty, and the world just sparkles every time I go outside! I’m so proud of myself this week for having taken daily pictures. I think participating in Dressember has been really helpful; now, I won’t miss a chance to go out and…

How to Wear Vintage while Pregnant, featuring Height of Vintage

Well, I’m here to help you realize: you can totally snag some awesome vintage clothes even while you’re pregnant! You just have to know what to look for! Height of Vintage has so many options a pregnant girl can choose from, plus it’s my kind of shop because at least 75% of it is $50 or less. So let’s get to it! 1. Choose garments with stretch…

    Vampire quality

Do you ever have those days where you feel so confident that you start making tons of faces in your outfit pictures, and end up with several that crack you up? This was one of those days. In half of my pictures, I’m making weird faces. But hey, we’ll just go with it; I generally do laugh and make faces more than acting all serious-fashion-blogger-y in real life. You guys know I’m cool. Haha! Seriously, though, I love this outfit. I felt like a (very pregnant) rockstar-vampire vixen or something. Of course, later when I changed into jeans because it’s getting way too cold for this skirt without tights (which…

    The Bee’s Knees

This dress is one of those dresses that I really, really love, but rarely wear. It’s just slightly too long for my taste (I prefer knee length), and the sleeves are kind of huge, but I love the color, the pattern, and the vintage 70’s/80’s ness of it. And for some reason, I think it works better on me while I’m pregnant. I feel like I’ve definitely grown more confident with style being pregnant, which was totally unexpected! I’m more bold in my choices, and I feel more like I have found a style that I belong in. I hope that doesn’t end once I have the baby. Tonight, the…
