Summer Wishes
Under the light of full disclosure, I only wore these sandal wedges for half the day. See, when we left our house, it was sunny and windless, and while not necessarily warm, at least it wasn’t cold. But then, of course, I had the brilliant idea to take photos downtown by the water where it’s naturally colder and windier, and basically… froze my toes off. On Saturday, I surprised my husband with some donuts and coffee for breakfast– we woke up around seven am and laid in bed for a while, and then I told him to stay in bed until I got back and I journeyed off to the store while he lay there wondering where the heck I’d gone– and then I asked if he wanted to come away with me. Valentine’s Day Lookbook: Vintage
This is the first photoshoot I have ever done by myself in a semi-public place. It was on a country road (I live in the country… ish…) in front of the doors of a community building, so people were driving by every once in a while (staring), and I drove by three times before I convinced myself I was brave enough to stop and take pictures there. Since the time change means it’s dark by the time I see Mr. Owl, I decided today to take pictures into my own hands. Because I have these new shoes and this new dress that aren’t even really new any more that I haven’t even worn on the blog. Getting engaged really messes with taking outfit pictures, I tell ya. 30×30 day 11: Relaxed.
I wore this on Monday. It was my day off, so I decided to forego makeup (partly assisted by the fact that I spent most of the day with a friend and didn’t have time to do my makeup before she got to my house), but at the very last minute I decided to curl my hair before I was off to see Mr. Owl.
