Today, I’m sharing an outfit styled by Hannah of The Outfit Repeater! Earlier this month, we decided to send each other an item of clothing we struggled to style ourselves, and see what we could come up with. I love that Hannah paired this skirt with a lot of yellow; although I’ve said red is my favorite color for years and years, I’m quickly learning that I react so much more to yellow these days. It’s my birthday! I always thought that I would feel older as I got closer to thirty, but it still surprises me when I realize that I’m only two years from the big 3-0. I’m not one to worry about age; I look forward to having years and years behind me, to holding hands with my husband when we have fifty years behind us, to having gray hair (if I ever get over this pink hair, that is) and wrinkles and just… living life. Button Up | Outfit
I have never really considered myself a button-up shirt kind of person. Blouses, in general, have not really been my thing. I gravitate towards stretchy everything; tee shirts, tank tops, sweaters — anything with stretch and ease to it, I’m in! But lately I have been craving the more vintage look of a button up blouse. Finding blouses that don’t gap awkwardly, though, is quite the feat. The biggest reason I’ve never liked button ups is one that I hear complained about most often: the gap. All Dress April | Outfit
It’s my birthday month! This month, I am going to participate in All Dress April which was, I think, started by someone in the Modcloth BST group that I’m a part of. I’ve done Dressember and I’ve done other various wear-a-dress-all-the-time challenges, but I like that All Dress April’s rules are a dress OR a skirt every day. And what better way to start out the month than with this glorious eShakti dress I found at Goodwill?
