Blogging every day in April may prove a little difficult in the words area; I’ve never been very good at keeping a diary, and that’s basically what this is. But, I am hoping it will help get me in the habit of writing a little every day, and taking pictures every day when I can so that once I’m back to my 3 posts a week schedule, it’ll feel like a breeze and I will have figured out a good rhythm for me.

Yesterday, Evie came out to help me take a few pictures, and let me tell you something: it is super hard to take pictures with babies who are easily distracted. As you can see in this photo on Facebook (and, by the way, if you haven’t liked my page on Facebook yet… why not? 😉 DO IT.)

I am excited to post today’s outfit (which will go up Monday, because… reasons) since Hilary and I got together and shot photos finally! We are basically just glorious awkward unicorns, you guys; there’s a pretty good height difference between us, plus I wore heels and she wore flats, and we’re both pretty goofy. I love the photos so much and I can’t wait to share!

I cannot believe my baby is nearly seven months old already. It just blows my mind how fast she is growing — and I do mean fast. She is currently in the 99th percentile for height AND weight, and we joke that she has a little head because it’s only in the 70th percentile. Whereas Asa’s head has always been 90th and above. I am trying to spend as much time as I can enjoying her and taking photos to remember each stage! I totally forgot to share her 6 month photos, but honestly I wasn’t happy with how they turned out so… that’ll just be missing in the blog archives.

She can sit up by herself now for pretty long periods of time, and has learned how to very loudly growl for things/at people. She’s also learned to scream in a very high pitched voice, and often does it if she wants attention and nobody is looking her way.

But she is still such a sweet baby, and I can’t imagine life without her!

I hope you’re all having a beautiful weekend! Happy Saturday!

You always manage to add a dash of personality to even a simple outfit like this. I love the little details!

Looks like Evie could be a fashion blogger in the making. Can’t wait to see what you and Hilary were up to this weekend!

I feel like there are no really good photos of me and Chloe because it’s so hard to get her to take a photo with someone else. When it’s just me in front of her with a camera, fine, because I can get her smiling and focused on me, but if I want to be in the photo too? Fuggetaboutit.

No mama is complete without her baby model. Gah. why can’t Amelie be that little again. She was so much easier than the terror that has taken her place hahahaha. Ah, she’s lucky she’s cute.

I give you major points for mixing simple pieces with a smattering of cute details. It looks awesome and I’m definitely stating tuned for your collab!
