Today was an adventure of sorts. Spent the day walking around Seattle with a friend, taking pictures at random stops. The above is yours truly sitting on a very narrow railing that I almost fell off of several times. But the picture is worth the difficulties of figuring out how to keep balance on the railing without falling over backwards while appearing to be effortlessly perching there.
The highlight of the day was our random sense of humor, laughing at things that we probably would not normally find hilarious, but since we both got less than five hours of sleep, everything was fun. We burst out laughing when we went into Starbucks for breath mints. We were second in line, and the barista (guy, dark hair, nice smile) asked “What can I get for you?” To which Cassie replied, a little apologetically, “Ummmm… breath mints…?” while holding up a little tin of them. For some reason this made us both burst out laughing, maybe because of the slightly confused look on the man’s face, or perhaps the sort of ridiculous answer… or maybe just because we were both tired.
We hope to do a spy shoot before I move. All black and white, with red accents. Red squirt guns. I just wish I knew a couple of guys who could come along and be White Spy and Black Spy. We could do a Spy vs Spy photoshoot, with two girl spies instead of the one.
I’m so tired. I really want some coffee.
Earth to my brain… ask… we have coffee!!! This makes me very happy.
I’m going to go drink some.
