    Key Print Blouse | Outfit

This week I have been seriously considering chopping off my hair. I know I don’t want to deep down, but there’s nothing like tangled, patchily colored, generally unruly bad hair days to make you just want to get rid of it all. But the girls over in the Modcloth BST chat group convinced me not to chop it, and made me realize that on the whole, I much prefer long hair to short. The Royal We | BBRBF Book Club + Outfit

So as you probably know by now, Sara Lily and I started a book club! Its title is officially the BBRBF Book Club, which stands for “Best Book Reading Blog Friends”. As Sara stated, we’re kinda lame, but we’re awesomely lame. Right? 😉 Anyway, our first book, as you can see, is The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan. But this seems like such a crime, to have colorful hair and be constantly pushing it up and out of sight. So yesterday, I bought myself…

The Etymology of a Vintage Blogger | Outfit

Yesterday, Skye posted about the different categories of vintage bloggers that usually pop up when reading blogs. There’s the Dabblers, who are usually all about “vintage with a modern twist”, the Retro-Pinups, whose closets are full of Bernie Dexter or Hell Bunny and who usually have tattoos and brightly colored victory-rolled hair, and the Devotees, who dress head-to-toe authentic vintage, down to the hat and gloves. As I read her post, I agreed with all the examples and categories, but we also chatted about how the list certainly isn’t exhaustive. We came to agree that there really should be a fourth category — the Thrifters. Those of us who enjoy…
