I really, really wanted to do a first of October post, and it looks like I am just barely making it! I tried today, really I did, haha! But Asa is teething, and has been unusually clingy today. Which I don’t mind at all; that just meant I didn’t shower until he took his very short nap this morning, and then I spent most of the day between watching him and photographing more vintage items to go up in the shop, so I didn’t have time to snap actual outfit pictures until my husband got home. Maroon, love, and baby names
If you missed it on Instagram yesterday, I posted baby Owl’s first and middle initials, which are A and R, to see what people would guess his name was going to be. My favorite guesses were Atticus Rex, Aragorn Romulus, and my friend who said “The scientific name of the Unspotted Saw-Whet Owl is Aegolius Ridgwayi. Guys… I figured it out” And, of course, with Mr. Owl’s family, as soon as we gave the initials one of his sisters guessed the first name right away, and I discovered that my husband does NOT have a poker face. Deerrings.
To be honest, yesterday I spent most of the day either pantsless or shirtless because I was too hot and lazy to do anything. Pregnancy does that to you. And I almost didn’t get dressed. Most of the day was spent either laying on the bed reading, getting my hours in for work (pantsless or shirtless; the pros of working from home), or admiring the ever-growing baby belly (yes, I admire my own baby bump.
