    Stripes and Beehives

Happy Saturday! You guys! Five days until Christmas!!! AH! Today we are going to a family Christmas party at my dad’s cousin’s house. I don’t know how many people will be there, but it’s always fun to gather with my dad’s side of the family; they’re a very food-centric family, so I know there will be a wealth of delicious foods to eat. Which is always a plus. This season I’ve sort of given up being healthy just for the holidays. Because it’s the holidays. This is how people end up five (or ten) pounds heavier by the end of the year, haha! So many cookies. I’ve been thinking…

    It’s Beginning To Look a Lot Like…

I’m feeling much better about today’s outfit! At the last minute, I spotted this scarf I’ve just gotten from Oasap, and voila! The perfect finishing touch. And in a brilliant shot of inspiration, I decided to cut some live greenery and pin a few evergreen branches to my head for a nice wintery crown. So here’s the…

I don’t know why, but somewhere along the last year or two, I’ve quit mixing patters as much as I used to. I feel like back in 2012 when I really started getting into my own style, I mixed patterns and colors willy nilly, but then somewhere between then and now, I stopped. I don’t know why; perhaps I was trying…

Book Review/Inspired Outfit: Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children

Excuse the horrible photoshop. I was being lazy and trying to go fast. As you can see, I’ve just finished reading Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, and it’s time for a review! I had planned to be inspired by one of the photographs other than the cover, but… did I mention lazy? As well, it’s probably the most recognizable of all of the images, seeing as it’s on the cover, and it’s the closest thing I have to an outfit out of any of the peculiars. So, here we are. I have actually been wanting to read this book ever since Salazar reviewed it, and I was not disappointed!…
