    This dress, you guys… this dress. Let me tell you a story about it. I was eight or so months pregnant and at Goodwill browsing the dresses for one or two more frocks to stretch over my then-42″ belly when my fingers brushed over a piece of fabric in the XL section.     Oh, my goodness, it is COLD. When I took these pictures on Wednesday, I was only outside for about fifteen minutes. But by the time I got done, my fingers were so cold I could barely move them, I had goosebumps all over, and my nose had started to run from the bite of the wind. I absolutely love this weather, though! It’s been so beautifully sunny and frosty, and the world just sparkles every time I go outside!     Weddings and Memories

    This weekend, one of my best friends got married in Colorado Springs. I met her back when I was 17 and my dad had a job which moved us around the country, and we lived in New Mexico for nine months. She and I pretty much immediately hit it off right away over an impromptu session of singing Phantom of the Opera, and since then have been the best of friends. I could not be more thrilled for her!     Giving Thanks

    This was my Thanksgiving outfit. I am thankful for twirly skirts, a certain dashing man, and the fact that I’m going to be a married woman in eleven days and I have yet to lose my mind. Although there have been a few emotional breakdowns. But seriously, you guys… I’m going to be married in a week and five days. That is… insane. And exciting.
