I really, really wanted to do a first of October post, and it looks like I am just barely making it! I tried today, really I did, haha! But Asa is teething, and has been unusually clingy today. You guys…. lately, I haven’t felt like blogging. The writing part, I mean. Instead, I’ve been reading all my old stories and getting inspired to continue them. Magic Hour
Do you ever have one of those days where everything goes fantastic until the very end? And somehow, even though it’s been a great day, you have a breakdown over something somewhat miniscule? Yesterday was one of those days. My husband and I took a day trip to Port Townsend, and the whole day was really great right up until we got home with an exhausted baby who had decided he didn’t really want to eat normally OR sleep much all day. Babies and Hot Air Balloons
The weather last week, you guys! It was SO nice. Asa and I had lots of fun playing outside; I really love that he loves to be outside. We go out and play on the blanket and stare at the sky and the leaves… and I try to ward off the bugs. I think when he gets big enough he’s definitely going to want to explore. I can’t wait for him to discover the different texture outside– grass, moss, dirt (messy, I know..). I have realized that while I really love hot weather, I only love it when it’s hot outside. Penguins and Diamonds
We are almost finished moving! I’m so happy to be pretty much over with the hardest part; now all we have left is to transfer those last little bits and pieces, clean up the house a little, and be done! And then I have to organize everything to fit into the room we’ve moved into (in my parents’ house) so that we’re not tripping over each other! It’s a bit weird going from a whole house to one room, but at least we don’t have a ton of stuff yet. Our house was pretty small, and most of it is going into storage.
