    Merry Christmas Eve!!! Earlier this year, I was perusing my local Goodwill’s fabric section, as I am very prone to do these days now that I have my own sewing machine and kids + a husband (and myself) to sew for, and I saw this fabric. Is it not the most perfect Christmas fabric you’ve ever seen? I bought it with many anxious thoughts about whether or not there was enough – by my estimation using the tips-of-fingers-to-nose measuring (if you don’t know, that usually equals about a yard, give or take), there was about three yards.     Mixing Up the Holidays

      I am only just getting around to sharing this outfit because 1. I am a very late person, 2. I made this skirt for Skye but liked it so much I had to wear it before I sent it to her, and 3. I had to wait for her to wear it on her blog. And then, I am just… a procrastinator. Because you guys, I made this for Skye’s birthday which was six months before I finished and mailed it to her.     When life gives you lemons… make a dress! And then burst into tears.

    I posted a little teaser yesterday of a DIY project I had done… and here it is!
