A Paleo Story (And an outfit with a cape)
Most of you know that I started eating mostly Paleo around the time that I got pregnant. I did a Whole30 and loved it, and then found out I was pregnant, and then had some mild repercussions from eating dairy and wheat, and basically cut most non-Paleo foods from my diet for the majority of my pregnancy. And I believe that’s why I had such a good pregnancy– as long as I was eating Paleo, I had no heartburn, no trouble sleeping, no grogginess in the morning, no back problems, no constipation, no queasiness, no stomach aches, no headaches, no swelling… none of those pesky issues that I’ve always heard…

October 1st
I really, really wanted to do a first of October post, and it looks like I am just barely making it! I tried today, really I did, haha! But Asa is teething, and has been unusually clingy today. Which I don’t mind at all; that just meant I didn’t shower until he took his very short nap this morning, and then I spent most of the day between watching him and photographing more vintage items to go up in the shop, so I didn’t have time to snap actual outfit pictures until my husband got home. Rainy days and pretty dresses
It’s raining again. Well, not again. Still. It’s been raining ALL week, and I’ve been working hard on getting Asa to sleep at night AND take good naps during the day (something that seems kind of impossible right now; it’s either or at this stage), so I have no outfit pictures for you. Borrowing
One of the nice things about having photographed the vintage in my shop is that on rainy days like today, I can borrow the pictures for an outfit post! This is how I’ve always imagined wearing this skirt, but it doesn’t fit me (it’s a few inches too small in the waist.) The delicate colors just had to be worn with this lace top, and when I went to style the outfit for the shop, I immediately knew what I’d do. New Endeavors
So this last week, I have been working really hard on something I’ve been wanting to do for ages: opening an Etsy vintage shop! As I have mentioned before, I have an enormous pile of vintage, mostly skirts, that I have been wanting to sell.
