I have been waiting and waiting to debut this vintage 60’s faux fur coat for quite a while. My friend Sarah gave it to me along with these two vest/cape/whatever things from her grandmother’s closet, and I adore it. But it takes a little bit of bravery (for me) to sport a coat with this much personality, and it just needed the perfect dress to go with it. Today has been a rough day. I don’t usually dump my moods on the blog, because I like it to be a relatively positive place and also I dislike being a Debbie Downer, but today, you guys… it’s been one of those days where I just wanted to be done with it before I even got up. It started at about 2am this morning with Asa’s waking up and crying because he’d lost his pacifier… and then again at 3:30am, and then he finally woke up at 4:30am and whined for a bit until I figured out — 15 minutes later — that he was hungry. The End of an Era
Well, you guys, this is it! This will be my last outfit post before Asa is born. My last outfit post before I take some maternity leave from the blog for two weeks. The last time you’ll see me (other than on Instagram, which I can’t quit, haha!) before I have an actual, real baby in my arms. I can’t believe it! Even after nine months of preparation, it just doesn’t seem real. I’m sitting here impatient for him to come, but at the same time… I have no idea what it’s going to be like when he’s really here.
