Love and Fall Leaves
On Sunday, my husband and I went in search of some good fall trees to shoot photos, and we found the perfect location in the parking lot of a school close to where I grew up. They have the most gorgeous red and yellow trees right now! Oh my goodness, I could have died. And in a moment of rarity, I let my husband do the picture-taking. I’m so picky about pictures, and I definitely need to learn to relax and let him do his thing, because he is an excellent photographer. Four months later…
One year and four months ago, I walked through the door of a coffee shop on my first date with a blue-eyed, dark-haired man with a love for J. R. R. Tolkien and a penchant for dancing to music wherever and whenever he chose. Three weeks after that, I realized I was in love. And a year layer, I married him. It was the best decision I ever made. He is without a doubt the perfect man for me and I cannot imagine anyone better. Happy four months, my love. I could not be happier with anyone else.

A Love Letter
I was going to post more wedding pictures today, but I thought instead, in celebration of a whole month of being married, I would re-post this old letter I wrote to my future husband back in 2009, long before I knew about Mr. Owl in any sense other than a vague recognition of who his family was.
