Determination
You guys have no idea how difficult it was to take pictures today. I mean, getting out of bed is hard. Getting dressed in real clothes is a victory. And putting on my own shoes? That, my dears, is almost impossible. I mean, when you’re only six days away from your due date, it’s a miracle when you see your feet, much less reach them. Coming to a close
Well, you guys, it’s the last day of the year! And what better way to end the year than with a fabulous dress? Sunday Millie sent me this adorable 60’s number, and I LOVE it! My husband is skeptical about the fabric– it’s a mixture of satiny and rough — but I told him it doesn’t matter. The pattern is cute, I happen to like the fabric, and it’s one of those awesome tent dresses that can be belted for shape, or left flowing if you’re feeling lazy. Sparkle and Shine
I can’t believe Dressember is almost over! That means my pregnancy is drawing close to its end, too, which is starting to be a welcome thought. I figure if this kid just holds out until next Saturday, then he can come whenever he wants. But I really want to go on vacation with my husband’s family the 1st-4th, so I don’t want him to be TOO early. Haha! Just a week or so. And can you believe it’s almost 2014? Crazy. This is real life
Yesterday was the first day of my pregnancy that I have thought “Yeah, I’m done.” I’ve been feeling less-than great, and I think it’s all the tempting holiday food. But it could also be that I am now 21 days from my due date, and almost full term! The misery had to set in sometime! So I thought I would share real life with you. Flowers and mustard
There are so many exciting things coming up right now, it’s hard to know what to start with! I’m almost full-term with pregnancy, it’s almost Christmas, I’m almost done with Dressember, it’s almost time for vacation with my in-laws… I can’t believe all of the things happening. We’ll start with Dressember: I forgot to do a roundup for last week AND the week before, and I missed one day completely (didn’t get dressed, I’ll admit!).
