    Fall Colors and Pregnancy Updates

Do you ever have those days where you have several different outfits to post, and you just can’t decide which one to go with first? This week has been like that. I have three different Dressember outfits in my backlog, and after debating a lot about which one to share first, I decided… might as well keep going in Chronological order. Haha! I have a hard time sharing posts out of order from when they happened! Please ignore the weird stain on the dress skirt; I have no idea where that came from! But that happens a lot. I can’t see anything past the top of my belly, so I…

    Black Roses

This dress totally does not show up as green as it is! I absolutely love the color in real life; it’s an emerald-turquoise color that just reminds me of spring and fresh greenery. But my camera’s settings won’t pick up the color for some reason. I cleaned out my entire wardrobe (dresser items included) yesterday after re-reading October Rebel’s awesome post about cultivating a successful wardrobe, and I realized something: out of the 55 dresses I own (not counting the ones I took out for the “wear a few ways and see if I want to keep them” pile), I only regularly wear about five of them. Chevron Stripes

I won a giveaway for The Jean Girl a month or so ago, and after lots of indecision I finally decided to go with this adorable chevron striped dress. It was so hard to choose from their many awesome items– I also got this mint shirt, which I love. The dress is a little bit shorter than I had hoped– online, she’s wearing a skirt extender which looks adorable but makes it hard to see the length– but I still love it!   How was your weekend? Mine was fantastic; I didn’t really have a super high-key birthday, but we went and explored a small town nearby, wandered lots of antique…

    Valentine’s Day Lookbook: Vintage

This is the first photoshoot I have ever done by myself in a semi-public place. It was on a country road (I live in the country… ish…) in front of the doors of a community building, so people were driving by every once in a while (staring), and I drove by three times before I convinced myself I was brave enough to stop and take pictures there. But I did. I set up the camera, got the focus in place, and started snapping. Quite a few people slowed down as they drove by, and one lady, who lived on the driveway near this building, stared at me the entire time…

    I get hives for you.

Details: Shirt($3.99), belt ($2.99), flower ring ($1.99)and shoes (2.49), thrifted; Dress (gift), American Eagle; Necklace(gift), Target; Turquoise ring, inherited. Approximate outfit cost:  $11.46 (the dress was around $20, so say $31.46 for those of you that wouldn’t have gotten it as a gift.) The title of this blog reads a bit creepier than it sounded in my head. Sorry about that. But I did literally get hives, all for the sake of a few pictures. See… as stated in that sidebar thing, I’m allergic to pretty much everything. I didn’t used to be, I just sort of… grew into my allergies. And this morning, I thought it might be fun– at…
