If I look a bit tired in these photos, it’s because… I am. This morning I dredged my way out of bed at somewhere around 7:05, took a look at the makeup left over from yesterday (I have this bad habit of not washing my face at night), and decided that since I hadn’t taken outfit pictures in 10 days and Asa was still asleep, I didn’t care about the leftover makeup or the tiredness and I was going to just do it. The Girl with Glasses
I have had glasses since I was about eleven or twelve. Traveling
This outfit started out as a lazy outfit. Because when I woke up this morning, it took me 30 minutes just to wake up and have enough motivation to get out of bed. Let me tell you, when you’re pregnant, getting 6 hours of sleep just doesn’t cut it any more! So I wanted to wear the most effortless thing I had in my closet while still being work-appropriate. Seeing dots
It’s funny how seeing pictures on a larger screen can totally change the way you think of them. When I took these, just peeking at the little screen of my camera, I didn’t like them at all. It’s always hard to photograph white, and I kept making the weirdest faces… and falling over because these heels are shaky. But then I got them into editing and I started to love the way they looked. I won a giveaway for The Jean Girl a month or so ago, and after lots of indecision I finally decided to go with this adorable chevron striped dress. It was so hard to choose from their many awesome items– I also got this mint shirt, which I love.
