    30×30 day 11: Relaxed.

I wore this on Monday.  It was my day off, so I decided to forego makeup (partly assisted by the fact that I spent most of the day with a friend and didn’t have time to do my makeup before she got to my house), but at the very last minute I decided to curl my hair before I was off to see Mr. Owl. I’ve been feeling a lot more confident without makeup lately. I credit this greatly to Beauty Mint— I haven’t done a follow up blog about how I’m liking it, but I can tell you that exactly a week before these pictures were taken, I had…

{Romy} Dress: $25; {Target} Shoes: $6 {Forever 21} Ring: $3.80 {Thrifted} Cardigan: $5.99 I am back! This weekend was a very busy one for Mr. Owl and I. On Saturday, the day these pictures were taken, we shot some engagement pictures of the moment he proposed to her, which was… probably the weirdest thing I’ve ever done, since we had to sort of pretend we were just hanging out and then suddenly take pictures from far away… but it was also a very sweet moment. I felt a bit like an intruder watching them and taking pictures of the proposal, but they were happy (she said yes), and it was…

30 Days of Dresses: Playing Favorites

This is what I wore for my birthday. I nearly chose to wear a skirt instead and take a break from the dress challenge, but then I remembered my favorite dress, and how it goes well with my favorite cardigan and my favorite shoes, and there you have it! All around, my favorites. I think my 30 Days of Dresses might turn into more like 20 Days of Dresses. I definitely have at least 30 dresses, but I’m getting to the point where the ones I have left are dresses I feel like I’ve worn recently– before the challenge started– and also, I am getting bored of my closet. Today, I’m…

I walk on railroad tracks, cuz I’m a rebel like that.

I feel a little bit like my blog is getting a nice makeover: I took that hiatus last week to save up some outfit pictures, all of which Mr. Owl is taking, and they’re all so pretty and professional-looking… except for the part where I still don’t quite know what to do with myself in them. I am hoping that my new blog-schedule will go something like this: Monday: Normal outfit post. Tuesday: Tutorial! Whether it’s makeup or hair or nails or clothing makeovers. Wednesday: Midweek inspiration, where I show you another blogger’s outfit that inspired my own, or reinterpret another blogger’s outfit into something I wear. Thursday: a day-in-the-life sort of post to share…

I buy childrens’ books because I am cool like that.

Other things that make me cool: 1.) This hat. You are jealous of this hat. And if you aren’t, then you should be. 2.) My ability to make you a coffee in one minute and fifty-four seconds. Ordering and transaction included. BOOYAH. Eat THAT, suckah! Or… drink it.. seeing as if you were able to eat it there’s probably something wrong…  3.) Posing:  Mad skillz, yo. I don’t know why I’ve suddenly become gangsta. Maybe it’s the hat. Or the fact that I got up at 2:50am. Or possibly the 4 shots of espresso I consumed.  Whatever the case, you should probably just ignore the words in this blog post and…
