Slowing Down
This outfit marks the last one that I will be wearing with heels. Sadly, as I mentioned in my last post, I discovered that it totally stresses my husband out that I’ve been wearing high heels while pregnant (because I fell down… in this outfit, right after I finished taking outfit pictures. Scraped up my knees, bled on the tights — thank goodness they’re red — and scuffed one of the sleeves of the dress), and lately I’ve also finally been feeling some harsher pregnancy effects, like my hips being out of whack and the groin soreness getting worse and worse. Stars and Stripes
Happy Fourth of July! So far, today has been great for me. I have the day off, which is wonderful (except I’ll have to work tomorrow, which means I can’t stay up too late…), and I slept in till an uprecedented 9:30. You guys, when you’re pregnant, sleeping in is even better. It’s like heaven. The weather isn’t looking too promising but I’m going to have faith in the forecast, which says it’ll be sunny and in the 70’s by one o’clock. I hope. The clouds this morning do allow me to wear this cardigan, but I’m sure I’ll be losing it later. Do you all have any exciting plans…

Flowers in the Forest
This post could more correctly be titled “The thrift junkie and her wardrobe.” I didn’t realize until I went down to name where everything came from that everything I’m wearing (except for the wedding ring, obviously) is thrifted. And who would have guessed? I mean, the only tell is the fact that there are two missing buttons on the dress I haven’t replaced yet. Shh. Don’t tell. I’m really terrible about replacing buttons when I have safety pins. I also don’t hem or iron. Worst. Housewife. Ever. I didn’t realize how much of a staple this jean jacked would be when I got it.
