    Birth

Well! It’s been almost a month since I’ve had Asa, so I figured I should probably get his birth story written out before I forget details. So settle in, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, or hot chocolate), and have yourself a good read. If you like reading birth stories, that is. Side note, in case you weren’t sure: I chose to have a completely natural and drug-free labor and delivery, using a midwife and her birthing center (basically, it’s like a home birth but at a home that is set up specifically for birthing). Man of Style: Red Velvet, Corduroy, and Koa Wood Rings

Well, I’m sort of back! Since I’m still not quite adjusted to life with a baby (aka… waking up every three or four hours at night to feed him), I thought I’d have my husband step in with a style post to get this month started off with some hotness and love. Announcing…

If you didn’t already see the announcement via Instagram, my darling baby owl is finally here! Asa Reuben arrived at 12:40am yesterday morning. As you can see, he’s pretty chubby! My mom said he’s bigger than ANY of her babies at 8lbs 9oz and 21-1/2 inches long, but he’s smaller than most of my mother-in-law’s babies. We think he’s pretty darn adorable. But then, we’re his parents. I’ve been posting a ton (too many) of pictures and videos on Instagram, so even if you don’t have an Instagram account you can still hop over there via this link to see. I’ll be updating there… several thousand times a day. Haha!…

    Mush and Slush

Two years ago in the summer, I jokingly prayed “God, I would love a boyfriend for Christmas!” just to have a good excuse to give the flirtatious guys who came through where I worked. To my great surprise, I got one. And a year after that, we got married. And a year after that, I’m currently full-term pregnant with our first child. I’d say it’s been a pretty good run of Christmases! Merry Christmas! I hope you and your families are having a wonderful, wonderful day! bloglovin | chictopia | facebook | twitter | pinterest | Instagram | Fiction Press
