Two Months
Somebody hit two months today! Motherhood thus far has been much like pregnancy was: not nearly as hard or scary or terrible as everyone says it is. We heard from countless people that having a baby would completely change our lives… but it feels normal. Except for the waking up every three or four hours to feed him at night part. But I know this is because Asa is a remarkably easy baby. He fusses so little that when he does cry or have grouchy hours, it’s just cute. By the sea
We took Asa out for his first walk in his stroller ever, and had to snap pictures down by the water where my parents live. I absolutely love the location; they are close to a woodland park that also has a large field nearby, and it’s close to an inlet with a nice, curvy road that is perfect for long walks! I would love to live close to this area. It’s so beautiful! Of course, since my husband took the pictures, I had to make a face. I really need to have him snap my photos regularly; they always look better, and then I’ll get more comfortable posing for him.…

Full Retro
Some days, a girl just has to go full retro. This skirt was in my pile of vintage to sell, but um… it might not be going back in. I originally wore it today just to grab an outfit shot for the shop (feedback from you guys officially says mostly garment-alone pictures, but with one outfit shot to see how it looks on a person), but then, you know… I have a huge weakness for plaid.
