    Seahorses

This shirt. I mean. Seriously. It’s just perfect. I originally chose it from Oasap because my husband liked it and I’m bad with decisions, what being pregnant and all, but when it arrived, I fell in love! The print is adorable, and the edges are so delicately scalloped, and it’s the perfect light material for summer. I can’t wait to wear it more!  I got all adventurous while photographing this outfit, and decided to use the brick wall at a local school. Yes, that is adventurous for me. Me, who until recently never took pictures outside of her property. Y’know. I met the janitor, who asked if I was getting…

    Traveling

This outfit started out as a lazy outfit. Because when I woke up this morning, it took me 30 minutes just to wake up and have enough motivation to get out of bed. Let me tell you, when you’re pregnant, getting 6 hours of sleep just doesn’t cut it any more! So I wanted to wear the most effortless thing I had in my closet while still being work-appropriate. Not that there’s a dress code at work, but… y’know. This dress, to me, is the equivalent of wearing pajamas. It is loose, comfortable, and basically a big tee shirt with some ruching. Makeup: Day and Night, with one Palette (and some lipstick)

So the lovely people over at BA Star sent me this fun little makeup palette, and since I really miss the days when I did makeup looks, I thought I’d have some fun. I got two looks out of it, but you can definitely get more! The first is a daytime, work-friendly look, and the second is a party-time look (or a look for whenever you want some glitter in your life. Which is always. Right?) For the daytime look, I used the three non-glitter shadows to create a nice subtle smoky eye. I really love those three shadows– they’re so smooth and saturated, and only creased a teeny bit throughout the day! I’d…

Valentine’s Day Lookbook: Glasses and Trends

This post is sponsored by GlassesUSA.com, and just in time for a great way to style your glasses for Valentine’s day! You should definitely check out their site, especially if you’re looking for to order glasses. They have an awesome selection. I especially love these frames.  I have had glasses since I was about eleven years old. When I got them, I was initially excited; they were round, with thin metal frames that had a multitude of colors in them, and the pastor’s son, who I had a crush on at the time, thought they were cool. So naturally, I loved my glasses. But as I got older and we…

    Friday Giveaway: Simply Bridal (CLOSED)

To end this week’s wedding-focused posts, I’m very excited to host my first giveaway ever: a beautiful, beautiful veil from the very lovely Simply Bridal! A few weeks before my wedding, Simply Bridal contacted me with the offer to send me a veil of my choice to either use in my wedding and review, or use as a giveaway. I chose this veil because of the beading and how delicate and pretty it is, but then just by chance I happened upon the 1950’s blusher that I ended up using… so guess what? I’m giving away this gorgeous, beaded veil to one of you lucky brides-to-be (or, y’know, if you’re…
