Yesterday I got to meet the wonderful Sara Lily (aka my BBRBF – best book-reading blog friend), and we have a few posts all scheduled later to talk about that, but one thing I noticed is that she is excellent at posing. Coming to a close
Well, you guys, it’s the last day of the year! And what better way to end the year than with a fabulous dress? Sunday Millie sent me this adorable 60’s number, and I LOVE it! My husband is skeptical about the fabric– it’s a mixture of satiny and rough — but I told him it doesn’t matter. The pattern is cute, I happen to like the fabric, and it’s one of those awesome tent dresses that can be belted for shape, or left flowing if you’re feeling lazy. Happiness in a package
As soon as I got this hat, sweater, and these gloves from Oasap, I had to wear them all at once. So, you know, this is possibly not the most elegant outfit ever but I am SO in love with these items I don’t even care! I actually wouldn’t have even gotten this hat if it wasn’t for my husband saying “But it would be so cute!” Thank goodness he convinced me! The inside of the hat is the softest fleece you’ve ever felt, and it’s nice and thick and warm. The gloves are lined with super warm flannel… and who can resist the fur cuffs? Love. This sweater,…

Oh, my goodness, it is COLD. When I took these pictures on Wednesday, I was only outside for about fifteen minutes. But by the time I got done, my fingers were so cold I could barely move them, I had goosebumps all over, and my nose had started to run from the bite of the wind. I absolutely love this weather, though! It’s been so beautifully sunny and frosty, and the world just sparkles every time I go outside! Yesterday, as I was scrolling through my Instagram feed, I came across this post from Cut and Chic vintage, and it sparked my interest. I have been thinking about more ways to utilize blogging in positive ways, so I did a little more research about it.
