Summer afternoon
I think this weekend is bringing on the (temporary) end of the beautiful weather we’ve had; it’s been cloudy all day today. But it might still be warm. Even with the clouds, yesterday was really, really nice. I make my family eat outside because it was way too nice to be indoors. Plus, I love a good outdoor table setting! I foresee a lot of outdoor eating this summer. My parents have a gorgeous yard with a bunch of fruit and nut trees for cover, and the ground is relatively flat. Think Pink!
I really don’t have much to say today; it’s a lazy day at home and the only things on my list are to clean the bathroom, get the laundry done, and do the dishes. My parents, brother and I are doing the Whole 30 again, which will be great for me because I’ve been craving chocolate a ton! I’m excited to get back into healthy habits with eating. Next on my list is to start taking daily walks. Well, once we live in a place where I can do that, haha! I can’t really take Asa with me because the roads around here are unsafe with a stroller. But…

Take Me to the Zoo
Focusing more on writing this week has been interesting so far. I don’t want to say too much, because I plan to talk about it in my vlog at the end of the week, but I’ve been re-reading Sweet Ireland Air so that I can get back into the characters and finish the book… and I’ve realized I’m very much not a collaborator. Full Retro
Some days, a girl just has to go full retro. This skirt was in my pile of vintage to sell, but um… it might not be going back in. I originally wore it today just to grab an outfit shot for the shop (feedback from you guys officially says mostly garment-alone pictures, but with one outfit shot to see how it looks on a person), but then, you know… I have a huge weakness for plaid. And the forest green and orange in this is just so pretty. And I haven’t gotten to wear plaid skirts for about a year. And… it’s just so perfect, you guys. Plus, it’s missing…
