Coming to a close
Well, you guys, it’s the last day of the year! And what better way to end the year than with a fabulous dress? Sunday Millie sent me this adorable 60’s number, and I LOVE it! My husband is skeptical about the fabric– it’s a mixture of satiny and rough — but I told him it doesn’t matter. The pattern is cute, I happen to like the fabric, and it’s one of those awesome tent dresses that can be belted for shape, or left flowing if you’re feeling lazy. This is real life
Yesterday was the first day of my pregnancy that I have thought “Yeah, I’m done.” I’ve been feeling less-than great, and I think it’s all the tempting holiday food. But it could also be that I am now 21 days from my due date, and almost full term! The misery had to set in sometime! So I thought I would share real life with you. Flowers and mustard
There are so many exciting things coming up right now, it’s hard to know what to start with! I’m almost full-term with pregnancy, it’s almost Christmas, I’m almost done with Dressember, it’s almost time for vacation with my in-laws… I can’t believe all of the things happening. We’ll start with Dressember: I forgot to do a roundup for last week AND the week before, and I missed one day completely (didn’t get dressed, I’ll admit!). Happiness in a package
As soon as I got this hat, sweater, and these gloves from Oasap, I had to wear them all at once. So, you know, this is possibly not the most elegant outfit ever but I am SO in love with these items I don’t even care! I actually wouldn’t have even gotten this hat if it wasn’t for my husband saying “But it would be so cute!” Thank goodness he convinced me! Slowing Down
This outfit marks the last one that I will be wearing with heels. Sadly, as I mentioned in my last post, I discovered that it totally stresses my husband out that I’ve been wearing high heels while pregnant (because I fell down… in this outfit, right after I finished taking outfit pictures. Scraped up my knees, bled on the tights — thank goodness they’re red — and scuffed one of the sleeves of the dress), and lately I’ve also finally been feeling some harsher pregnancy effects, like my hips being out of whack and the groin soreness getting worse and worse.
