30×30 Day Six: You animal!
This is a skirt that I’ve had for a few years, and the last time I wore it I wore basically the same outfit as I’m wearing now. (See?) I decided to add it to my 30×30 because I want to try to style it more, and I’m trying to decide if I actually want to keep it or get rid of it. I like animal print, and I’m not afraid of the body-conscious silhouette, but the rise is kind of awkward (it cuts right below my belly button, which is a weird place for a skirt), and I’ve never felt very inspired to style it. Belated

Fashion Blogger Cliché
I have finally succumbed to the thing it seems all fashion bloggers do: pose in front of a (mostly) brick wall. In this case, it was an empty house at a waterfront park and I wanted to move into said house… because hey, everyone loves a brick house! Right? Other fashion blogger-type things in these pictures: wearing leg-shortening, vintage-looking boots with a dress; skirts belted at the waist; ginormous earrings. Shucks, I’m full of clichés today. Midweek Inspiration: Pattern Clashing!
This week, I didn’t feel like emulating any particular outfit so much as doing a bit of pattern mixing, inspired by this outfit (I want that bunny shirt!) and this outfit in particular. I loved the combo of stripes and florals, but I don’t have stripes and florals that really go together, so I opted for polkadots instead. And this might be a new favorite outfit of mine! Bikes and Stripes
Somehow, it completely slipped my mind that I was going to do a Midweek Inspiration post today, perhaps because we– being my family and I– are going to move again at the end of the month, so a lot has been going on.
