Easter

I hope everyone had a great Easter! My day was spent with both sides of the family, taking lots and lots of pictures of everyone; I got to photograph my cousin’s adorable little girl again (first set of pictures here!), and I took pictures of my parents that I can’t wait to share, and a few family pictures. It was so much fun!

I already knew I loved to photograph people, but yesterday reminded me how much.

I found this dress on Friday and totally fell in love with it. My mom used to make me holiday dresses every year when I was little, so I’ve gotten into the habit of “needing” a new dress for each holiday… but I don’t really like sewing that much. We were actually looking for a tie and pair of pants for Nehemiah to wear to match Asa, but I ended up trying on dresses (I can’t resist) and found this at the last store.

And since red is my favorite color, well… PicMonkey Collage3

We’re moving this week! So today I’m trying to pack up a few things to send home with mom (who is currently sitting next to me, haha!) so that we won’t have some really overwhelming days at the end of the week. I’ll be glad when we’re all moved.

Asa will enjoy living with grandma and grandpa for a while. I’m excited!

Plus, we’ll be able to garden, go for walks by the water, go to the park to play in the summer, and the husband says we can go swimming in the water. I think I’ll leave that up to him. There’s a lot of seaweed and goose poop and crabs in that water.

I should probably get back to packing! I have a whole house to pack up before Saturday. And then my birthday is on Sunday, and then we have to clean the house before the 30th. Ah, moving. It’s exciting, but tiring. I’m glad I have a great mom and in-laws to help out!
