Dot, dot, houndstooth
I gave in. I decided to spite the rain and take pictures anyway. Because when I walked out the door, it wasn’t raining that hard. It was a mist. I figured, hey… it’s just a little misty, I can totally rock some pictures right now. Except that it started pouring halfway through, and by then I didn’t care. I love you dots and dots.
I have just found my absolute favorite outfit ever. Polka dots, I love. TWO pieces with polka dots? Oh, yes. It was all I could do not to throw on my polka dot tights with this, too. Then again, it’s finally been too warm for tights lately, and I am so happy with the weather! It just makes me happier through the whole day to look out the window and see the sun outside. Summer Wishes
Under the light of full disclosure, I only wore these sandal wedges for half the day. See, when we left our house, it was sunny and windless, and while not necessarily warm, at least it wasn’t cold. But then, of course, I had the brilliant idea to take photos downtown by the water where it’s naturally colder and windier, and basically… froze my toes off. Yellow and Blue
Behold, my second attempt to take pictures by myself while Mr. Owl was working. My first attempt was not so great. And these are all just a tiny bit out of focus, but for a second try with a camera that only has a timer and no remote… I’ll live with them. Instagrammatic
As you probably know by now, I recently got Instagram. I’m a little bit addicted. And nerdily excited, becuase now I can be one of those cool bloggers who does weekly instagram posts! Yay! Also, it makes my life look way cooler than it actually is.
