Thrift Haul #5: The (mostly) Home Goods Edition
Happy Saturday! I think Saturdays might become my thrift-haul-post (or video) days, because you know… who doesn’t like a good thrifty post on the weekend? I hope you all don’t mind the makeupless, messy haired version of myself. It was between putting on makeup, and making a video, and obviously I chose the latter. Silver Propet shoes, florals, and stripes
I am very excited to review and show you the second pair of Propet shoes, which are a pretty silver flat with laser cutouts. These, as they suggested, do fit much better in the toe and are every bit as adorable and comfortable as the leopard print ones. I actually really love silver as a flat, too; I find that I rarely wear black shoes, but white tends to get very scuffed, and I’m not in favor of a nude shoe ever. One jumpsuit two ways
So this is a garment that has my family and friends split on whether it’s good or terrible, and I confess I tried it on at the thrift store because it looked crazy and I was going to make fun of it. My dad loves it. My mom and my husband think it’s weird and ugly. And I mean… jumpsuits? I have always been firmly on the “Definitely not!” side of that argument. Oh, my goodness, it is COLD. When I took these pictures on Wednesday, I was only outside for about fifteen minutes. But by the time I got done, my fingers were so cold I could barely move them, I had goosebumps all over, and my nose had started to run from the bite of the wind. Think Pink
The entire day I wore this outfit, I had “Think Pink” from Funny Face running through my head. I felt SO deliciously girly, and I loved it! Not that I don’t normally dress girly on a day-to-day basis, but there’s just something about having a pink-dominated outfit that makes a girl feel pretty.
