Some days, a girl just has to go full retro. This skirt was in my pile of vintage to sell, but um… it might not be going back in. I originally wore it today just to grab an outfit shot for the shop (feedback from you guys officially says mostly garment-alone pictures, but with one outfit shot to see how it looks on a person), but then, you know… I have a huge weakness for plaid. Oh, my goodness, it is COLD. When I took these pictures on Wednesday, I was only outside for about fifteen minutes. But by the time I got done, my fingers were so cold I could barely move them, I had goosebumps all over, and my nose had started to run from the bite of the wind. I absolutely love this weather, though! It’s been so beautifully sunny and frosty, and the world just sparkles every time I go outside! All day yesterday, while I was writing up the post on how to thrift and date vintage clothing, I had “Put a Ring On It” going through my head, only I was singing “If you liked it then you shoulda put a belt on it!” over and over and over again.
