Fashion

I couldn’t think of a good title. So I made faces instead.

It is a beautiful day out today! The sun is glorious and warm, there are flowers blooming, and I could go sit outside all day. And get very sunburnt.

But as it so happens, I’m feeling inspired to write today, so no sitting outside. Plus, I’d rather not get a sunburn– or a tan, for that matter. So instead of a fashion post or something random and written, here are a few pictures of the day. Taken, of course, by yours truly. (Which is me. I mean, who else in your world could possibly be yours truly?)

Look at the little mushroom I found!

He’s so teeny and adorable!

I’m off to write.

Oh, by the way, let me introduce you to the face people often mistake for an 18-year-old girl (aka mostly makeupless me):

Because this post wouldn’t have been complete without my face.

(fun fact: as soon as I typed that, I snorted. Like  a pig. Yeah. Because I’m mature like that.)

And yes, I am cheating on my 30 for 30. It’s sunny out. I  had to wear my favorite summer dress.

Bye!

You look beautiful without makeup! Some people look kind of blah after seeing them with makeup but you look so striking!

I was extremely sad I had to work inside all day, the sun was very tempting. It was nice driving home in the sun and looking at the Cascades! There is nothing better than Spring in the Pacific Northwest! 🙂 But you’re lucky, our daffodils haven’t bloomed yet. I keep looking at them every morning in hopes that they would have started to open but they’re still just closed little buds.

Aww, thank you! I actually think that if it weren’t for skin problems, I might go makeupless all the time. Well, that, and the fact that I’m really girly and love putting on makeup. Hehe.

I’m sorry you have to work inside on such a nice day! That’s no fun at all. 😉 You can always come visit and see my daffodils. They’re everywhere right now.

Oh, I know! I didn’t really wear makeup before and then I got acne when I was seventeen or eighteen and started piling on foundation and that just segued into eye shadow and more mascara and… Now the acne’s gone but I just like putting it on and the feeling of wearing it. I guess I’m addicted. 😉

I might just have to! None of the plants in my yard have really started blooming yet, just the weeds. 😀

I didn’t get acne until I was… gosh, eighteen or twenty. And at sixteen, when I was finally allowed to wear makeup, I actually didn’t like it on me. 😀 Which I find funny. Makeup is fun, though. And now that I’ve figured out what works on me and what doesn’t, I like it a lot better.

          Weeds can be pretty! Sort of… sometimes… maybe… 😀

I CAN SEE YOUR FRECKLES!! 😀 😀 😀 Heheheh. Sorry, that sounded weird. But I like freckles. I wish I had more, but more freckles usually means getting tan skin and I do nooot like tan skin. Bleh. So I have to decide. Most often I decide to hide from the sunlight. Although sunshine also means less breakouts… ugh. But I hate being taaan!! *cries*

Sorry. I just had a meltdown over my skin on your blog.

You are adorable. And I love the leetle mushroom!!! SO MUCH!! <3

So so so awesome pics Spring is really over there! I too love taking pics from the plants! And YAY for this tiny muchroom, someday it’s gonna be BIG! 😀 😀 Ok, probably it will stay small like that forever, but you can still eat it (eewww!!) 😀

And how old are you? Seriously now… I was sure you were 18 or 19 and now you say you’re not! You have a beautiful baby face and really gorgeous eyes 🙂

I know, I’m so excited to have spring, finally! I hope it stays. 😀 (Knowing the usual weather, though, it’ll probably get colder and rainy.) I’m not going to eat the mushroom. Teehee. It’s too small and cute!

I am almost 23. (next month is my birthday.) Hehe. But don’t worry, most people assume that I’m 4-5 years younger than I really am. I look younger (like you said, baby face), and I sound younger… and I act younger. 😉 So I don’t mind it. 😀 Thanks, dear!

    Why “mostly” makeupless?

Also, I love that mushroom. I’ve seen little mushrooms like that where I live. I have a thing for mushrooms, actually. Whenever I see one, I always stop and exclaim, “Ooh! A mushroom!” Even if it’s mushroom season and they’re all over the place. I don’t know why I love them, but I do. I also like eating them. The edible ones, anyway. 😉

Mostly= I have foundation on because my skin is breaking out.

Me, too! On both counts. They remind me of Alice in Wonderland… and they’re tasty.

I would like to see more pictures of you with little or no makeup. You look lovely either way, so why not show us the natural you a little more often, eh?

They remind me of Hobbits . . . and they’re very tasty. Especially raw.

        • Mara

Hehe, because I’m girly and I love makeup? 😉 If I had good skin, I would probably go makeupless more often.

They remind me of Hobbits, too. 😀
